Safari Nursery Room

This nursery room was our first attempt at what we like to call The Overnight Nursery. When the parents left home for the baby shower we completely transformed the room using the Safari Theme and Pink,  Purple,  Mint and Grey color scheme the parents wanted. In this nursery the parents had some existing furniture  they wanted to  incorporate; dresser and desk. The desk we turned into a changing table with plenty of storage for the parents to put away items they need to be at the ready such as diapers, ointment & wipes. As a bonus, while the crib is still at its highest setting,  we created a “cage” for the safari animals (see our white tiger?) This allows for the parents to move freely through the room while the baby is small. Once she is mobile and ready to play, the safari animals can come out for the fun and the crib can me moved to fit the babies growth. The elephant and baby wall decals are a great way to  incorporate the color scheme and the poofs hung from  the ceiling add pops of color in a room  that could not be painted.
