Oh hey, it’s been a while…

Oh Hey!

So I checked my blog and I haven’t been on updating my website in a while, the crazy thing is that Social Media has taken over blogging for me and Instagram has become my “sharing” mechanism and I have become a micro blogging master. By master I mean that I MUCH prefer it because I over analyze all things blogging by re-reading/editing/re-reading/deleting/etc.

With that being said…there is so much to share! But if I am being transparent, I want to start with this, if you know AJD and follow my brand as well as my life (which in my mind is one in the same) then you know that I have experienced some significant trials in the past 6 months, I have been broken down in ways I did not know existed. I have learned that it is okay to not be okay, to not be the strongest, and to be broken. 2018 has been a year that I was not prepared for, I don’t know that you can “prepare” for anything, but I know that I have been tested as an entire human being this year.

Though at times I consider myself an “over sharer” I am not at a place to share it all. I am at a place of thankfulness though, and as I go through this season in my life what I do have to share is that no matter what anyone is going through, there is a silver tint (or in this case a rainbow around the sun) in the clouds of doubt. Also, that light that everyone says is at the end of the tunnel, is. It is up to us to decide what that silver tint/light means for you!

In that, I have to be thankful for what this year has brought in my life. The continuation of my undying faith AND sisterhood friendships with some real women that have become more engrained in my circle and even new friendships that have shown me what a close circle is all about.

I have always believed in women empowerment and in creating networks to help each other, in business and in life as entrepreneurs, mothers, wives and friends and this year that belief has been a blessing! 

As I grow and change so does A Jolie Design and as we evolve, I firmly believe in the power of positive thinking, prayer and friendship. 

So I started this blog with all that we have to share! What has AJD been up too? New Jobs? New opportunities, New ventures….summer time fun, travel and all things my crazy mom life are to come!

I will start updating our blog weekly! Stay tuned (do people still say that) & Be Blessed!
