Paying it forward

Apart of every project is discarding the existing furniture pieces that no longer fit in the clients decor. With that there are often pieces that are still in good shape, and could be utilized by another family. Here at A Jolie we always try to donate the furniture pieces whenever possible, we specifically try to donate them in the town we are in. This can be tedious but it’s always worthwhile! For our last installation we found a Goodwill Donation station where we dropped off love seats, end tables, a chase, area rug and throw pillows. We always donate on behalf of our clients so the paperwork is all in their name, but it warms our hearts to ensure that the furniture is not just trashed, but recycled into a new home!

This is something so simple that makes me smile! (but you should have seen me trying to take the sofas out…it was not pretty)
